Hi all,

I'm an avid Porsche fan based in Singapore. Been here almost 10 years now.

Singapore is one of the worst countries to be in if you're a car nut, but I've made do!

Looking for my first 924 and possibly a 928 and I friend recommended that I check in over here. Happy to be here, cheers all!

Hello and welcome to TIPEC forum.

I'm amazed the Singapore government even allows anyone to run an old Porsche!

I share your passion for the frontrunners - 928 S4 here. Good luck with tracking down (and affording) a car.

Best regards

Adrian

A fair few cars are shipped from Singapore to Cyprus (I know I had one) maybe you might find something there and have it shipped back the other way.

Its been about ten years since I visited Singapore and it looks to have changed a bit.

thanks for the welcome. yes, singapore is changing fast and old cars aren't particularly welcome, but there is an enthusiastic following here and we're doing what we can!

they have a classic car scheme which allows for the importation of cars 35 years old or earlier (hence the search for an early 924 and 928) at reasonable taxation rates (127% only!).
