Very nice. I like cars that are original and unmessed with. They're classy classic. ![]() |

Hi Guys I'm new on here and just wanted to introduce myself to the forum. I've recently sold my S2 cab and my stored 951 is now under restoration with some body mods as that is what I'm mostly involved in. 1986 951, proposed spec: Semi appearance of a 997 GT3RS with the sweeping checker side decals and accent coloured door mirrors Main colour Metallic grey (colour code LY7U) Accent colour Porsche Viper green (70's colour code L2D8) Widened rear arched by 75mm - 75mm wheel spacers (similar to Le Mans 924GTP) Widened front arched by 50mm - 50mm wheel spacers Evolution 9 sweeping checker side decal in Viper green Rear Evolution decal to replace Porsche 17" 3 piece polished split rims, centres painted Viper green Front bat wing spoiler, similar available for 964 but enhanced by me Rear Turbo RS adjustable spoiler Rear valance diffuser - designed by me All bulbs replaced with HID Hexons etc Clear front/side indicators lens (fronts use amber led strip) Stainless exhaust Rear roll cage in viper green Air vents to bonnet Vented badge panel Colour coded door handles Gauges colour coded viper green 968 club sport steering wheel with a accent strip in viper green Existing Interior; Full black leather Lucky to pick up the 10 speaker optional extra panels and speakers Big engine mods upgrade planned over a period, but unsure of budget yet and as we all know it needs to be kept under control of our dreams. I'll post pic's as soon as its ready, good to be on here. |

.........forgot to add I've got some teardrop mirrors off a 993 also which will finish off the style and bring it up to date a little, luckily picked them up for about £300 a couple of years ago, I've seen them now between £400 and £475 (Steve Strange 968's on eBay) second hand !!! Had to change the bases and new rubber gaskets to suit the 44 which cost me £100 but well worth it, however if anyone has ever changed the 993 bases for 944 bases....believe me its a real b*tch until you do one side, I believe Porsche have a special tool, I had to make my own out of an old 3/.4" open ended spanner!! |
