Hi All, Great day at Beaulieu yesterday my first Porsche event and i think i got a little giddy and ended wondering towards the TIPEC tent where Jim Hearnden and his lovely wife persuaded me you were all a lovely bunch (time will tell :D ). Then spent over 30 mins talking detailing with Paul Greer as a fellow wax slinger. So its seems you are indeed a lovely bunch.

First time Porsche Owner lifetime fan, As a youngster i was given a 935 in martini colours as ride on and that was it never looked at any other Marque in same way i look at Porsche. Posters on my wall as a teenager(80's) of James dean in the 550, 911 sc targa's, 935's and Steve Mcqueen and his 917, not a testerossa or countach in sight.

I am the very very very proud owner if a very early 2.5 986 in silver (James dean wannabe i know). Sad i may be but i still get a kick every time i drive it. and looking at it never gets old, i thought that was just me but speaking to a lot of owners yesterday i'm in the vast majority.

Looking forward to Meeting some of you in the southern region July 1st.

Welcome to the club.

You'll love it and just leave your car anywhere near Paul, which includes next post code, and he will clean it!

That's Paul Greer not Paul Mabley :D
