Hello!

Just joined TIPEC having recently purchased my first Porsche. When I look at it I still can't quite believe it's mine :bounce:

I love orange! Interior is cocoa, so it has been named Terry (choc orange) by a workmate and fellow TIPECer.

The pics show my mods so far: wheels refinished from silver to black, added side graphics and replaced Cayman S badge in black.

Next on the to do list (and more importantly):
Rear Mich Pilot Sports are near worn out, so there's the choice of replacements (near new Pirelli Pzeros already on the front by previous owner)
A service and general inspection required so I need to choose one of my locals; PCT, Martin Brown (Shirley's) in Meriden, main dealer in Solihull.

These choices may have been addressed in the forum already, but any advice welcome.

..and then, somewhere down the line I'd like to replace the PCM v1 with something up-to-date

Welcome to the forum and the club.

Orange really suits the lines of the Cayman and I like the black wheels :D

Personally I would not switch my rears for Pirelli. Shirley's and PCT come well recomended.

Welcome, that's a nice car you've got there.

I've never had a lot of success with Pirelli on Porsches wear is too quick.

Michelin are excellent on them and just moved from Pirelli p zero that came with my car to Michelin Pilot Supersport I'd recommend them but can't yet comment on wear.

Thanks for the welcome, the compliments and advice

Paul, I know your neck of the woods well, I was born and raised in Chearsley. When I think of home it's the views across the Vale and towards Waddesdon manor from the Ashendon road. OnYerBike is also a draw for me ;-)

Chearsley is just up the road as you say, the Bell is nice!

OnYerBike is also nice although I'm not brave enough to partake in their wares!
