Very nice, the early cars still have a certain style about them....

Thanks Jim, just had a slight problem pulled into my drive and steam was was coming out of the bonnet. opened the bonnet to have a look and take the cap off and the pressure was so great it soaked the kitchen towel i was using to open it in seconds and the cap flew off. It looked like a hot water spring  i've had this before with my mini and it was the head gasket, could it be the same for the 944? I hope not :(

It drove back to Devon from Leeds apon picking her up and she drove beautifully, took her out to fill her up with some fuel and drop off a bottle of wine round my aunt and uncle's and now this :( not good

If anyone has any idea's what it could be i would be very grateful. Temperature gauge was fine on my drive from leeds to devon didn't think to check it on such a short journey.

Thank you,

Alex

Thanks Lee, I Think i've got it down, could be the head gasket, thermostat sensor, air in the system or a blockage? maybe even the water pump hopefully get a day off work this week to work on it and see if i can pin point the problem!

but if anyone has any suggestion i'd be happy to hear them.

Cheers,
Alex

That's a perfect example, with the interior in particular in great condition.

You seem to have an unusually large amount of switches on your centre console. What do the row do behind the ash tray?

Also, have you read about the covers, and how a bad cover can actually scratch your paintwork and make it worse than it would be uncovered? This does depend on what cover you buy. I decided not to bother. The real harm to paintwork occurs when driving, not standing still.

Looks good Alex.

Hope it behaves properly and serves you well.

I'll try to see it in person when next visiting the seaside :-)

Richard
