Hi and Welcome to the BOOST fraternity, a great choice :D .
Is this your 1st 944? if so beware of the boost on slippery roads & roundabouts! (a few have come to grief on these  )
Hope its fine for your collection tomorrow, you'll end up with cheek ache (the face that is from the mile wide grin, best value in smiles per mile  )

Thank you guys, it's my first Porsche full stop, although I've been fortunate enough to have driven several 911's over the years and have owned a few powerful rear wheel drive cars. I've already discovered the boost plus slippery road scenario - Roly at EPORSCH was very gracious about the sudden requirement for opposite lock on the test drive...

Hi Alex,

Great fun, thanks. I collected it at 11.00 this morning. Have already changed the steering wheel for a MOMO Prototipo as the leather on the original wheel had gone tacky and started to disintegrate, and just got home from a 100 mile buzz around Buckinghamshire to get a feel for it. Taking things pretty easy to start with, but so far it's all I hoped for. Fair to say I'm smitten!!

I've taken a couple of photos but due to my dismal ineptitude I'm struggling to download them as the files are way to large for the site and I can't find a way to reduce them from my phone. I'll get them on ASAP.

Cheers,

M

Hello and welcome, glad your pick up went smoothly and have to laugh at the amount of drives home that take in a massive diversion from the most direct route home, enjoy
