Is the Cayman your first Porsche?

Thanks ! First mid or rear engine for me. I had a 928 about 20 years ago. Looking forward to meeting other members and learning more about these cars with engines in the caboose.

Hello and welcome

The toy certainly feels different from anything I'm used to. Over the driving years (going back about 20 or so) I've have had various japanese 'performance vehicles' from specialist Celica GT4s (the first model) to the last RX7. Took a 10 year break from the 'A to B quickly' scene and went to the 'A to B very comfortably' scene (read SUV's and big saloons). The Cayman is my first toy back into cars that weigh under 2000 kg. Still being new to Scotland and the UK, I've yet to find a nearby facility where I can explore the limits under an expert's tuition. I'd rather know about the limits on the track than to accidentally find out about it on a country road. Your roads here in the UK seem a whole bunch smaller than the roads I've driven in other parts of the world.
