Hi everyone,
I have been meaning to join TIPEC for quite some time, but only just got round to it. I'm a complete Porsche and classic car nut. I've owned classic sportscars since the age of 15 when I bought an MG Midget in a sorry state, very much against the advice of my family, and have had interesting cars ever since.
As far as Porsches go, I'm on my 4th, previous were a 944 Lux, 944 S2 and a 986 Boxster S. Now I have an '82 911SC coupe which needs a bit of work here and there. This winters job is to remove the engine, strip it down and have it rebuilt, as recently found out it has a broken head stud.

The 944s I owned were brilliant, and if money and time weren't an issue I'd have another, particularly a Lux, great cars and an absolute bargain at the moment.

The Boxster was also brilliant, but too modern for me. In the end I had to return to something older.

I am planning to get along to the monthly meetings, so hope to meet some of you soon.

I'm in Surrey, I've attached a photo of my SC (I think). Since this was taken I've fitted the passenger side mirror.

Don't look too closely at the rusty front wings, I've got two brand new wings but haven't got round to fitting them yet. Having too much fun driving it to take it off the road!

I might get to Gaydon on Sunday but if I do it'll be a last minute decision, I have two young sons so life is pretty busy at the moment.

I like the colour, bring the lads to Gaydon as well they will have a great time.

What a stunning colour, and I've always had a soft spot for the big whale-tail spoiler.
