Post subject:  new owner in Hants/Wilts /Dorset 996 3.4 tin top
Hello all, well after 3 years or so hankering after a Porsche (firstly a 924s, then a 944s2 possibly a 968 then an air cooled 911 finally I have bought a 996 3.4. I'll be picking up the car this weekend, can't believe how cheap the insurance is. well looking forward to a scorching summer and wearing no branded Porsche marque clothing/knitwear, at all ever :lol: .Good luck peeps, J

This wouldn't be the same 'aston' I spoke to at a show few years ago when I had my '44? We spoke on Torquecars forum several times since.
Well done on getting the 996 if so. Finally took the plunge eh?

Welcome to the forum Aston - lots of enthusiastic people here always willing to help with Porsche problems...... what part of Hampshire/Wiltshire are you from? let us know and we can suggest your nearest TIPEC region to go to on club night and meet like minded people.
