I have bought a 1984 944 with the intention of restoring it, having some fun this next summer. working on it through the winter and taking it to Le Mans classic 2014. Went to Le Mans classic this year and had a great time. Thought it would be great to do it in my own car next time. :D

Yes its all there to do, there is no power steering, so do i try to lighten the front, light conversion, fiberglass bonnet and wings? The sunroof is no working correctly, do I get rid of it? If I make the front lighter, I need to make the back lighter. Or do I just keep it standard. Good job I have a year and a half to get it ready. I am sure that I will get lots of advice here, and hope not to ask too many stupid questions....

Hi, i will be going to classic le mans in my cab, went in a camper this year and missed my car so much.
As for lightning your car, i have spent a small fortune doing my S2 and believe you are better of spending your money on getting your car sorted then chip, decat & K&N filter.
Fiberglass parts cost far to much, fit poorly and there is so much you can do first.
