Morning everyone, just found this great site!
Just realised I should have completed an intro before posting on the general site.
I have a 944 S2 Cab bought in 1998 (29,900 mls and two previous owners) 14 years later milage is 81,000. Needa a new hood and some tlc but generally in good condition. I posted a question in the general section because it appears the water pump has failed....fitted 4 years and 11,000 mls ago only. Belts, tensioners etc done at the same time. My local mechanic is suspicious, particularly as the milage covered is low although I suppose as 4 years have passed it could be age related.
Just wondered if anyone could recommend a reasonably priced supplier, I assume OEM would be fine.

You should change the belts every 4 years or 48,000 miles whichever comes sooner.

Surprised Sean didnt ask for any photos as that was the very first thing he asked me :wink:

Cant help with the water pump sorry, but I am in the middle of doing me power steering hoses !
