hi all been into 924 and 944 for a long time now...and hotrods...so joined up looking for a project...i cant seeem to pm anyone is that because i have just joined...is everyone open minded on non porsche engine swops or :twisted: thanks...

Hi your first 3 posts have to get approved as we've been plagued with spam. I've just approved your first post so I think you can PM now.
No issues with transplants, I was looking at a supercharged S2 at one point then possibly the LSx V8. Another one I researched is the Jaguar Duratec V6 which was originally a Porsche design anyway. You need to think about gearing & the strength of the transaxle, although that seems to cope with 3.2 litre Turbos so should be OK.

hi jim...great v8 swops here we come...im looking for a cheap 944 project car(wink wink) to drop a 1uzfe lexus v8 in...its the 4.0 v8 32 valve quad cam...fantastic engine,im just making an adapter plate...going to get the broadfoot arch kit when funds allow and the swop is done...
