Hi folks,

My name's Stephen and I'm a recent Porsche convert. I've bought a 944 S2 which has belong to a couple of your members and I'm over the moon with it. I've lurked around for a good while on here, picking up tips, checking out buying guides, peeking at the classifieds etc... I finally made the move last week.

The 944 is probably the nicest car I've owned. I've had an odd bunch of motors through my relatively short years, a Datsun 280zx, an (original) Mini Cooper - and a 60's Cadillac, amongst others. This seems like a really friendly scene and I'm looking forward to getting along to some meets and what-not locally. I tried to join the club last night but the google checkout thing went a bit doo-lally so I'll try again tonight...

So, everything is good. Happy with the car, chuffed to be getting involved with a good scene. I would be keen to hear if anyone has any experience convincing girlfriends/other halves to move house based on the fact their sloping driveway fouls their Porsche's splitter when reversing in... and I know the obvious answer, but I can't afford the rent by myself...

Nice to make your acquaintance,

Stephen Kelly

If you give Steve Potter a call he can take your details over the phone, or you can Paypal the subs.

Welcome to Porsche ownership, you have bought a very nice example :)

Ah thanks Sean, I wasn't quite sure about using paypal, I'll have a crack at that soon.

Cheers for the hello, wonder if there are many more Porsche/944 owners around the Leeds area??
