 Post subject: 944 front wiper mechanism

Hi there
am a new member with 944 and am having trouble removing my front windscreen wiper assembly. Having undone the necessary nuts etc I cant get the assembly out. Any one got any ideas?

The spindles that go through the bulk head where you take the arms off are secured by small cir clips. Usually the drivers side ball that wears & the arm pops off. To take the lot out the heater is in the way!

Hi. I recently had mine out due to me having to replace the scuttle panel. I cleaned the whole area and then decided to take out the wiper mechanism. I had to take the top off the heater fan unit. It's an easy job, just unscrew all the visible screws in the top.

I have added pics.
