Thanks for all the comments. I have done a drastic thing and cleared out my garage such is the love I have for my new car !!!!!!!
I think I'm gonna wait before I dive in with the new wheels, I want to wait until I've been to Jon garage incase I'm in for some major nastys!
I just wanted to say also that whilst driving last week a guy in a 944 gave me a thumbs up but I was a bit slow on the uptake so if that was you sorry !!

Good Idea. Get your car working properly then you can appreciate any upgrades.

You'll find the front engined Porsche community are a friendly bunch. It's the modern Porsche owners who don't recognise you as they don't even see you're driving a Porsche  The looks of bewilderment I get when I wave to a passing Boxster or 996/997

My cars in at JMG week starting 21st for servicing. May see you down there :thumbleft:

Andy

Ok, its been a while since Ive been here and feel it would be good to give an update of my porsche ownership !
The visit to Jon Mitchells was good, the car required new disks and brakes, new castor mounts and bushes. Other than that it got a clean bill of health.
Unfortunaltly a little while ago the right windscreen wiper failed to work , the arm needed replacing, 8 quid for the part from porsche uk ! fitting it was a nightmare! Also today the slave cylinder has just gone but that shouldn't be to expensive.
The only thing that is concerning me is the noise behind the dashboard. It sounds like water is sloshing around. I checked out the heater matrix and that seems fine, there is no pattern to it so its not just happening after rain or being washed ! Any ideas?? its driving me mental.

Thanks and happy driving !
