S2 looks good, although at this age the electrics can get as bad as a newish alfa  I to have a 944 and a Golf although the 944 is older and the Golf is newer. Good luck with getting it sorted.

Finally, my car is back on the road, complete with new cam chain tensioner pads, rocker cover gaskets, fuel rail and breather pipe. Just got to get my new tyre fitted on Friday and I am going to leave everything well enough alone (well for the time being anyway!). Was a good learning experience, even if things didn't quite pan out how I was hoping. Got there in the end though.

Was having a nice drive this evening until it started chucking it down with rain, will take it out for a proper drive at the weekend.

Dave.

I know - you were spotted.....by Nathan (944 S2 Cab from the last meet). Saw him tonight, he said he'd seen your car on the road. Well done, enjoy.

Hahah, I was only out for half an hour, he did well to spot me! Didn't spot him in his cab though, I was probably too busy checking guages, etc making sure everything was running ok. :)

No, you wouldn't have - he's got a green VW van too and as it was raining, he wasn't out in his Cabby.
