Hi all

I am previously a classic mini nut, so a switch to a Porsche may apprear a little bizarre! Quite frankly got bored of paying a fortune for something so basic (although lots of fun), and thought why not pay not much for something even more fun!!!
I ignored the warnings around running costs and am relying on the cluttered logic that as it has had all the big jobs done recently then it should not be too painful on my limited Sunday runs (infact humble minis start costing bucks once you get obsessed with engines)

Anyway, here she is and i am looking forward to my first deeeeeep clean!!

Welcome, wise decision (I hope).
I had loads of Minis in my distant Past (even had a Cooper), great fun, even the wife enjoyed them, apart from all the reliability issues on the older cars (sub frames etc before galvanising!). Took me until 2004 before I got a 944 and never looked back, had 3 now they are addictive :D.
ps wife doesn't drive & doesn't go in the Porsches, arn't I lucky :bounce: )
Enjoy the drives.

Hello and welcome, 944 looks nice, the only time I have driven a mini was to learn to drive in (7 lessons) and to take my test in
