Hi Billy here
I've joined this forum as I have replaced my 986 with a 987 and I intend to keep it for summer use only .
Basically I'm new to Porsche ownership and will do all my own maintainance myself and no doubt will find this forum most usefull .
I am currently restoring a Lotus Carlton and I am a member of the Autobahnstormers car club which is very useful for info and parts etc and hope this forum is as friendly .
Billy

Hiya Billy, they're a friendly and helpful bunch on here and I've had lots of help and advice myself regarding the 944S I used to own and the 986 that I currently own. All that said I might even peck your head a bit now I know you've owned one
See you around pal.
Andy Bruce.

I love the 987 it's a dream to drive so different to the 986 in so many ways
I will post piccies of the LC but won't be for a while I'm afraid as I've just dropped the engine out so I can get the chassis legs etc welded after all it is a vauxhall  :)

Hi, Billy, welcome.
Ask away with the questions, mate - really helpful bunch of guys on here, I've found there advice invaluable.
Talking of Vauxhalls, I have owned 3 Carltons in the past and always wanted to aspire to the legendary Lotus Carlton but never achieved that ambition.
The two ultimate Vauxhalls I have owned in the past; a Calibra DTM in white with white alloys; followed by a Vectra GSi - both cracking cars.
Enjoy the forum, mate.
Bob

Hi and welcome from another Lincoln member.
If you are interested in Tipec meetings I have frequented the SYNN (was SYND) region meetings since 2004, a very friendly group with plenty of interesting outings organised.
The web site is :- http://www.synd.org.uk/ should you be interested.

Thanks for a very warm welcome :)
I hope to get along to some meets in the summer but time is very scarce at the moment as I'm spending so much time on this car
