Hello all.

Just a quick post to introduce myself.

I bought my first Porsche about seven months ago and finally got around to joining TIPEC online last night. My car is a 1996 993 Carrera RWD manual and it has absolutely been a pleasure to drive and own since I have had her. I've wanted a 911 since childhood (who hasn't?) and promised myself one before my 40th birthday - I managed to get one three years early!

This is my first Porsche, but I've owned a few performance/sports cars in the past, e.g. BMW Z4 M Coupe, BMW 130i, V8 Merc CLK, Toyota MR2 etc.

I live in the East Midlands and will hopefully be able to make some of the events where I can, not always easy due to work and the like but I'll do my best. Hopefully my wife and I will be attending the Hatton Country World Show next month.

Thanks for the welcome folks.

I'll hopefully be able to make some of the local meetings, not sure if I can do the next one yet but it would be nice to drop in whilst the sun's still a-shining.
