Hi All just thought I would log on and say hi. There are a lot of great discussion threads on the site.
I am the proud owner of a black 1990 mint 944 S2. It currently has 67,000km on the clock and still feels like new.

Best of all i can get my bike in the back....try that on a 911

Hi & welcome  How many 944s are in NZ? I know of two people out there, one an ex-Porsche owner who are there. Fen who moved out a few years OK from the UK occasionally gets on here.

I'm not sure how many there would be, though there are alway about a dozen for sale on our ebay type auction site. Porsche's in general are quite popular over here with the Porsche Cup style racing pretty popular. Quite a few imports from Japan have found their way over here in the past ten years or so.

Hi and welcome. I just got in contact with my cousin after 30 years, turns out he is on NZ. Sounds a great place to live, and turns out I have an open invitation to vist. He even works for Air NZ and can get me and my family tickets. I'm hoping to visit in the next few years.

Lee.

Hi and welcome.

I hope you get out of this forum what you want. There are plenty of experts on here, all of whom have had issues, so ask away.

Enjoy the ride.

Went to NZ for christmas & new year, really enjoyed the trip. Have relatives in Richmond/Nelson area.
Thought the Coromandel was one of the best places I've visited along side Golden Bay.
Can't wait for the next visit to make all those places we missed this time!
Really enjoyed the beer as well, all those micro breweries!
Steve

Hi Siggy

I live in New Plymouth. Happy for a beer and a chat if you get down this way.

Yeah there is some good beer over here. Coromandel is nice. I actually live in Taranaki...best place in the country...of course I may be a little biased! :)
