Hello, new 968 owner here based on the south coast (New Forest area) just dropping by to introduce myself.

Looking forward to meeting local members at some point.

Hello Greggers. I have left it a few days to reply to see if any other members responded. Only you took the time to say hello and you're not too far away, thank you!
Let's arrange a meet in the NF sometime to talk Porsche (or TVR if I bring the Beast!!!) :brilsmurf:

Cheers, P

Hi and welcome Pete,

I'm not a million miles away, if you're having a get together.

I think I'll be free on Sunday 26th October as my wife and daughter will be away.

Thanks RDO for your welcome. Let's try for a get together on the 26th. :occasion5:

I will e-mail you with a suggested venue.

Cheers, P

Hi there, good to see you on here, in addition to arrangements you are making for your meet you will no doubt be aware of monthly TIPEC meets quite close to you arranged by the Southern and Wessex groups as well as local and national events in your area. Have a look round the regional pages on this website, I am sure you will be made very welcome :D

Greggers, you are most welcome to join RDO and me, I will include you in the e-mail.

Sam, thank you for your welcome and suggested meets with the Wessex and Southern groups.

This is just an impromptu get together suggested by RDO and is not intended to replace any formal gatherings. Personally I find it difficult to meet in the evenings and prefer Sunday lunchtimes. The TVRCC, of which I am a member, hold monthly meets both Sunday lunch and midweek evenings and this allows members to choose which event suits them best.

P

Just found out that I've been volunteered for mother-in-law transport services in the morning so am unlikely to be able to attend tomorrow --- apologies gents! Another day maybe ,,,
