Hello all,

I just joined this morning, I've been a Porsche owner for about 5 years now, started off with Impreza STI's and moved from an e46 M3 to my first Porsche.

I initially had a gen1 Cayman S and absolutely loved it but 2 weeks after buying it the wife told me she was pregnant and 18months later I swapped it for a gen1 997 c2s simply for the rear seats.

the c2s I initially loved but it had so many niggly issues over the past year that I eventually fell out of love with it and changed again!

my current drive as of 6 weeks ago is a gen1 997 turbo tiptronic and I'm completely in love again, what a good looking beast!

these cars can be a pain in the backside but I now think of it as an adventure.


I'm looking forward to chatting when my next issue arises or helping anyone if they experience one of the many ones I had on my c2s.

Nice choice of cars over the years, took some time to make the right choice
Plenty of people on here to offer advice with niggly problems, would trust most of the advice when it comes to Porsche, not sure I would trust em when it comes to advice with little people
