Hi,

Thought I'd better join up and introduce myself as a Porsche owner.

I have previously owned a 928 S2 in my youth, but I currently have a 1987 944 that I'm considering selling in order to trade up to a 996.

As I also have a Range Rover and a Lotus Esprit in my modest little collection, it is with great regret that I won't have space to keep the 944 aswell as a 996.

I'll be reading the forums thouroughly to understand the issues & pitfalls with 996 ownership, hopefully it could be as pleasent an experience as owning my lovely 944 for the last 3 years.

Regards,
Mark W.

Thanks for the welcome :D

I'm From Flitwick and use the 944 as a summer daily driver for commuting.

I've often seen the TIPEC banner whilst at car shows with my Esprit, not sure why I waited so long to sign up to the forum!

Thanks Gary :)

Stuart, I'm in Millwright just off Windmill.

I've met Heinz, he flagged me down in Millwright last year and we had a chat about my car!
I haven't noticed yours on my travels, I'll keep my eyes peeled next time I drive down that way.

I met someone else last year at the post office in Ampthill (he lives in Flitwick) who said he owned a cab... not you by any chance?

I've spotted a blue cab on Temple way before (H15 something) and seen the Guards red 924 in Westoning driven by a lady (DPY).

Mark.

No not mine at Woburn as I think it fell on the same day as the Duxford Spring Car Show which I attended in my Esprit... we were parked up right next to the TIPEC stand
