Track Toys offer sensibly priced mechanical services, as an alternative to high price track specialists or expensive main / independent dealers. Aiming primarily at those who want to get on track, but do not the time, space or inclination to maintain the car themselves. the services on offer include those shown below. Not got a track car but want a decent, honest mechanic? Drop us a line - we are happy to work on performance road cars also, even your shopping shed if needed! TIPEC members get a 10% discount of standard quoted prices. ServicesSuspension - removal and refurbishment of existing units, installation of new units, rebushing of components, as an extension of our service - full road / track geo packages will be offered to customers via Center Gravity.
Brakes - routine maintenance of braking systems, pad and fluid changes, track spec fluid and pads, caliper refurbishment, brake upgrades from parts or kits.
Roll cages / chassis - from fitting of strut braces and chassis strengthening plates to fitting of bolt in / weld in cages. This can range from a simple fit, to an interior strip out, cage fit and internal paint. Along those lines are chassis lightening also, wiring removal / rewires. We also extend this into minor retrimming, door card manufacture etc.
Seats / Harnesses - again, this can be a problem area with many sub frames being to high for installation with a roll cage so will require fabrication or adaptation to fit the customer. Also harness bars or chassis reinforcement for harness pickup points.
Exhausts - fitment of aftermarket parts, repair or modification to suit a required purpose.
Electronics - we offer installation services for data and video logging as well as traction control systems, diff control etc
Servicing - from routine oil / water changes to planned maintenance as per the manufactures guidelines. Clutch changes, power upgrades etc.
General Garage works - beyond the scope of track work, should any customers require maintenance to road cars etc, this is also a service we can offer.
