I carry Tipec Business Cards and flyers in the car - especially at shows etc.

As a giveaway I think previous copies of All Torque are ideal as its a nice looking mag and has a "no cost" element for the club. By this I mean that the cost of the Mag has already been incurred and so giving it away to a prospective member has no additional cost implication for the club.

I'm not sure that we need anything else - talking to another enthusiast will either make them interested in joining the club or not. The discounts available to club members now make the membership cost a "no brainer" so the only real question is whether they are enthusiastic enough about their car to join the club. If they are - give them a recent issue of AT as a pressie :D Everyone's happy

The only other thing we do is take penny sweets to shows - whilst you're chatting to mom & dad about the club give the kids some sweets. If the kids are happy so are the parents.
Just to clarify here - don't offer the sweets to kids unless Mom & Dad are in attendance - you might be misunderstood  :D

So where do we get the flyers from then?
Or am I missing something here?

No worries - nobody told me when I started either. I guess it works on the principle that if you are stuck you shout for :help:

:D

I was thinking that we could hire the girls that cleaned PiG's car,
they could give complimentary polishes for new members at their first meet.

I think we'd get plenty of new members and personally I'd join at least twice :D

I am not renewing my membership until they come round and clean my 3.2 :bounce:
