The June issue of All Torque should be getting mailed out tomorrow.

I’ve given the mag a bit of a freshen up: New typefaces, bit of a clearer structure, and so on. Hope you all like it (or at least that most of you do … can’t please everyone!)

After getting some preview copies today, I’ve already spotted some things I want to change for the next one. It’s always the same …

I wanted to record for posterity a rare moment of Clive getting his car dirty.

I thought you wanted to remind him of getting beaten by a fat bloke in a cabriolet :D

No no, silly Sean !.. what it is actually showing is the 993 crossing the line at a higher speed than achieved by the 996 cab!

As we know real races are a lot longer than 1/4 mile where top speed is critical.

Just received my copy (Sat).

The design tweaks look great and centre spread of 944 at Brands is stunning!

Am biased, but particularly enjoyed the "Central supplemement" section which grouped Steve Jones' running report, Graham Plumb's account of his lifelong love affair with VW/Porsche, and yours truly's write-up of fiddling with 928 aircon (sounds a bit feeble next to Graham's grand passion).

Hi,

Nice one Tony. The 'bumper' edition is looking really good - very professional. I like how you've pulled out quotes from the articles and highlighted them. Very in line with 911 & PW magazine. I also like the centre fold picture article concept.

Impressive article on pages 12 - 13 as well.

Keep up all the excellent work Tony.

Ben :bounce:

Great read Tony! There maybe less adverts than in some other Porsche mags. And thats probably our fault for not plugging it enough. But the quality of the content is great. Good article Ben. Like the track articles as well. Interesting stuff. Well worth the membership fee for the mag' alone :bounce:

We manage the advertising content very carefully and refuse to run adverts so that AT has plenty to read.

My postie is having a laugh! I'm getting close to driving round to Tonys' and getting a copy. Funnily enough, I caught the postie looking under the car cover when the 944 was in the drive. He said he was interested and liked it, maybe he is reading my copy.
