Well its good to know the communication is at last working in the East Anglia Region I had a letter today from tipec aparently i have been taken over from as ARO would have been asked if i wanted to continue the role etc
nice to have been told!!!!!

I realise i dont have much time to go to all the meetings due to work commitments etc

Unfortunatly due to the move of the east anglia Region meeting point to Bury St Edmonds from Colchester it is more than likley i wont be able to make ANY of them now. I will try and attend if possible.

so keep me informed of the local activities guys.

Chris

Hi Chris

Sorry you feel a bit agrieved, but you have been told about the RO positions. We've advertised them in AT for months as well as mails I have sent to both yourself and Mark.

I don't recall receiving any replies from you on the subject.

The region needed to move on and I'm sure Anglia will represent the members of the area very well going forward.

Its ok im not being funny about it etc

I recieved one email and said id continue being aro if needed i didnt want to do the full ro as it would be silly with work commitments etc but nevermind i dont mind someone else doing the job

I will try if possible to turn up when i can and will still represent the area in the colchester area.

If there is anyone else that feel this is too far to go and live in colchester/ Chelmsford area please let me know and maybe sort out some local events here.
for a small group.

Ill still hand the leaflets out where i can too.

Colchester postcodes are co

I have recieved your email through yahoo but cant reply

so i will pm you with my new address

I know i didnt go to many meetings but i did attend a few last year the last one being
just before xmas where alot of people did not turn up too.

I have been through an awfull lot in the last year that i do not wish to discuss.

one thing though was that i was at college in Sheffield for three months in this time i kept in contact with the club by joining the SYNDs run by trig at the time so i was doing my intergroup part.
got on really well with them went to a few meetings whilst i was there.

anyway im not trying to make a big thing of this i just wanted to put my view across.

if youd like to know what else ive been up to in the last year pm me and i will tell you.

thanks
Chris

The guys at The Crown felt that Bury St Edmunds was a good location for the region within reach of Colchester.

I appreciate it can be difficult to balance work commitments and personal circumstances often change. The club can be an unwelcomed distraction and should be put on the back burner.

I hope we'll see you at the Anglia launch on 20th May, we're going to invite 60+ former members who are in the new catchment area.

It promises to be a good night with lots of Pork in the car park.

A round of applause (OK a Mexican wave as I can't find a clapping icon) for Chris :wav: It would have been very easy for him to spit his dummy out and point 2 fingers at TIPEC.

Chris is the sort of member that we need in the Club. A big thank you for what you have done in the past and what you will do for the club in the future

Sean If I can I will be at the Anglia launch, signing on new members. I fancy a night out in where ever and its between conferences

I'd go along with that.

The new venue is the Flying Fortresshttp://www.theflyingfortress.co.uk/page9.htm it would be good to see you there, the more the merrier.

Keith Strudwick carried out the reccy and has given the pub a thumbs up.

With a name like that I imagined that it would have a real one in the car park.

There is a McDonalds in NZ that has a DC3 for the kids play area

Cmon Chris you drive a Porsche, it's a good excuse to get it out for a spin and it's only about 30 mins to Bury from Colchester!

Something needed to be done about the EA region and I think this is definitely a change for the better.
