I would like to welcome Nick Ramsay as the new Regional Organiser for the Thames Valley Region.
Nick has been a very active member since joining the club last year and holds the Club record for attending 3 different Regional Meetings in the same month.

His contact details are on the website.

I would like to thank Paul Mabley for all the effort he has put in over the last 2 years. Thames Valley is definately a much more friendlier region after it moved venues and leadership.

All the best Nick, you'll make a great RO and are already a great asset to the club.

We'll all be there to help you out during the changover.

Thanks for all the kind words, I've enjoyed running the region and had many a laugh along the way. It's been superb to have such loyal friends and members that regularly attend the meets, this is what makes the effort all worth while.

I see the club going from strength to strength under Sean and the current committee but I feel I currently haven't the time or resources to push the region forward at the same pace. This is where I think Nick can take things to the next level.

Mostly, thanks to my able "assistant" Jason. We've run the region together equally over the last year rather than in the RO and ARO roles and it's been superb, the highlight of which was sleeping together in the region gazebo :D Thanks mate it's been a laugh.

I'll still be about every month and will be active in the region so you haven't got rid of me just yet

Looking forward to the future.

Cheers
Paul

I'd also like to thank Paul for everything he's done in moving this region on in the last couple of years, if it hadn't have been for Paul being the RO, I possibly wouldn't have put myself forward for ARO.

I do hope this doesn't mean we can't share the gazebo again some day

I'm guessing that as with most high profile resignations, the decision has been made swiftly as to avoid embarrassment when some sleazy story appears in the press in the next few days

I'd also like to welcome Nick as the new RO and assuming the new boss doesn't bring in his own back room staff, I'm more than happy to continue as ARO

I've known Nick for the last year or so and i'm sure that we will continue to keep the region progressing as well as it has been over the last couple of years
