On behalf of the region, and in order to get you an immediate response, I checked te Anglia home page and whilst it says they meet on the fourth Tuesday (today), if you do a bit more digging, you will see that they meet on the fourth Sunday in the Winter months. Normal Tuesday's resume in April. It's not clear izzy, but it is there. Hopefully their RO/ARO will be in touch soon. |

Hi Ian, Very sorry to hear that you made a fruitless visit to our old meeting place. Regrettably and due to no fault of ours, it was deemed inappropriate to continue at the 'Fortress'. Way back in December it was decided to temporarily discontinue our evening meetings during the winter. Instead we 'lunched' on the fourth Sunday of January and February, and had every intention of doing so this month, (see email on club website)! These changes have been notified to all Anglia members by monthly emails. Plus the usual write-ups in our excellent 'All Torque' magazine. However, the regions page on the TIPEC website escaped our alterations, and therefore visitors were unaware of the changes. For this we must apologize profoundly. If you look again at our Club's webpage (Anglia) you'll see that from April we're reverting to evening meetings. And on 28th April we'll be welcoming old and new friends at 'The Bunbury Arms'. I do hope you will be able to make the journey again, as we all try to make a 'new' face very welcome! Cheers for now, Keith |
