Hi everyone, New forum member just saying Hello. I'm in deepest Cornwall, bit off the beaten track but I'm sure a few of you venture down here on your hols....

I've had my Midnight Blue 968 coupe for over 12 years now, I imported it myself from Italy, so the steering wheel's on the wrong side. The car still goes beautifully at 133,000 Km, pulls and steers well for a 22 year old car. LHD isn't often much of an issue.

I was a TIPEC member a few years ago, went through a very bad spell with a nasty divorce and let the membership lapse. The car suffered a bit too but I'm in a much better position to turn it around now. MOT tomorrow so I'll see what's really needed then. The car's been SORN since last September with just an outdoor cover under a bit of shelter. I'm planning on another 6 months driving it then probably another period SORN but in a garage this year.

Planning on a bit of DIY car tinkering this year, might be needing some advice!

Welcome, glad to hear your troubles are behind you and the car can get the attention!

Thanks Paul, the car was about the only asset that I was left with. I expect the sentimental value will always outweigh the financial.

Hi Speedster. I am also a new forum member and now want to re-export my LHD 968 cabrio back to France.
Did you by any chance keep your LHD headlamps as I need to change mine now. Buy or would happily do a swap? Mobile is 07770453023 Thanks. Pete
