Post subject:  Southern Region Christmas Dinner 11th Dec Eastclose Hotel
Southern Region's Christmas Dinner Party will be at the Eastclose Hotel, Hinton near Christchurch on Tuesday 11th December, meeting at 7.30 for 8.00pm. We have a private dining room and have negotiated a preferential price for our party, plus nearly a 50% discount on hotel rooms for members who may wish to stay over.

The price for dinner is £23 per head, with luxury rooms at £75 each, for 2 persons including breakfast and VAT. We are still discussing with the hotel the pricing on wines etc. We will report back on progress!

Please contact either myself or sam should you wish to attend our party. We will require a £10 per person deposit and your menu selections by the 11th November at the latest, on a strictly “first come, first served” basis.

We look forward to seeing you all on the 11th December.

Just like to say a big well done to Andy and Steve (sam) for all there hard work running around checking out venues etc.Looks like its going a great night :bigsmurf:

Who do I reserve a room with? You or calling the hotel direct?

Jon, you book your room direct with the hotel, and I will give you a discount code. Did you not get an email from me? I thought I had sent out an email to all Southern Region members last week? can you check that you received it and let me know please? I am down at your place this afternoon so you could let Mark know as well. You have got me worried now that I may have had a glitch on the comms front :dontknow: Also how many seats for dinner?Best you speak with me before you call them about your room, to get the heads up.

I will be there for dinner with Lindsay, Mark and Stephen.

Not staying the night, as I don't live far away and I don't drink anyway. The other 3 will be drinking though, I expect the wine bill is going to be big! lol

There are some places still available for our Christmas Dinner Party at the East Close Hotel on the 11th December. Please contact either myself or Steve Wagg if you wish to join us. For those who have already booked, we will need your deposits and menu choices by the 11th November at the latest.
