Southern Region has been invited to meet up with the IAM at Portland prison DT5 1EQ where they have reserved the car park from 4:00. The IAM team will conduct a fun skills driving event around cones with points awarded for accuracy. There will be a chance to win “Southern Region Driver of the Year”. For those coming from the East, I suggest meeting at 12:00 on the 17th July - The Bakers Arms Dorchester Road, Lytchett Minster, Poole, BH16 6JF This is just off the A35 and would be a suitable place to gather. From there The Blue Vinny, (DT2 8TE at Puddletown) makes a good stop for a bar snack followed by a cruise down to the prison. Please let me know if you would like to participate. Nick |
