Just had a call from Classic Cars magazine:

"I am looking for someone with a good representative Porsche Boxster who lives fairly close to The National Motor Museum at Beaulieu.
We use the photo studio at Beaulieu for the photography on our “Buyers Guide” articles.
What we are looking for is someone who wouldn’t mind taking their car to Beaulieu for a day whilst it is put in the studio. The car needs to be unmodified and in good condition, a 986 rather than the newer 987.

Hope you can help
"

If anyone can help, please email me details of your car and I'll pass them along.

Jim.

Is this not the same request as this thread?

Mine's a 1999, unmodified 2.5 litre 986.

Er, no, that's for Practical Performance Car magazine in Derby, this is for Classic Cars magazine in Beaulieu.

Are you willing to travel down South for the day?

Jim.

Hi Jim

What date do they want the car on?

I'm doing the Practical Performance Car shoot with my '97 Boxster and would be interested in this one too if I'm free that day.

If you want to pass my details on, my e-mail address is village.eejit@tiscali.co.uk

Tell them not to be put off by the e-mail address. I may live in a village, but my IQ score is officially 0.5 points above idiot level.

Hi

I would be willing to provide a boxster S in standard trim with optional gt3 alloys and willing to travel.

Many thanks
