Hi Folks,

Tuesday 6th May is Southern Region's Club Night. There will be a quiz with some fabulous prizes (Gordon's been on ebay again). The route for the run to Portland will also be distributed.

Everyone welcome new and old.

Please see our Regions page on the main site (or click here) for directions to the meeting place.

Start 8-8:30

The pub has good car parking. The pub has good food, both restaurant and bar menu are available. Large garden facilities are available and barbeques and pig roasts are available in the summer. A good time for all the family can be had.
The landlord is a nice guy and is more than pleased to have us there.
Distances are:
Salisbury 26
Poole 13
Bournemouth 18
Warminster 31
Yeovil 29
Weymouth 27
Shaftesbury 16
Sherborne 24
Swanage 25

Which is roughly fair for all the major towns.
The journey from any of these locations is all on major A roads and the last little bit is 3/4 mile on a good well surfaced B road the B 3082 (so good we thought it was an A road !)
Gordon will be there to kick things off and will buy the first person there a pint !!

Look forward to seeing you all!

Just to add I havae raised us 150 from a local Porsche specialist, ok from Jon Mitchell who has kindly donated it to get the club regional funds up and running so a hearty thanks to Jon Mitchells garage for that

he is on

01202 488800 or 07000 996 911 or email enquiries@jmgarage.co.uk

which may be a blatant advert but he has given us £150 so i think thats fair!!!

What a nice night that was, some new faces, representation from PCGB (!) some old faces, and 15 Porsches in the car park. Thanks to everyone who came and took part in the quiz eventually winning hats, ferrari's(think optimax !!), and the very nice pirelli calender as well !!

I am sure someone will add pics for us here soon

911's outnumbering 944's !!! a couple of 928s but no 924 or boxsters !
