Hi Andrew :)

The trouble is that Nicks car is ALWAYS clean lol....

I would be much more impressed at those sort of demos if they picked the dirtiest old car, but of course they never do....

All the best Brett :)

The demo car when we went to KDS earlier this year was a black new shape beetle that looked like it had been cleaned with a Brillo pad so they don't always pick the shiniest!

Nick's car looks clean and to many people they would be very satisfied with the finish. What the guys at Parc Ferme do was to show us the next stage you can take your car and after even a few minutes clay bar and paint prep you could see and feel the difference in the paint finish. Even a brand spanking new car taken straight out the factory could be made into a different car with the products they used, well it should at £8k a pot. As they also said, they can't perform miracles, if the paint is shot no amount of wax and polishing will be able to bring it back.

I agree, take a good finish and improve it requires more skill.

My 944 has only been treated to HDcleans & Zymol for the last 10 years. Usually done twice a year.

All down to the previous owner, as I only took possesion of the car in May. He keeps his Zymol wax in the fridge to protect it from going off. After the HDcleans, he then applies the wax to the car with his fingers - that apparently helps the wax to spread/soften easier due to body heat. Guess you have to cut your finger nails as well..lol..
