I was wondering if any one was going to this event? When I booked my slot, I was asked where I wanted to be either with TIPEC or PCGB; but they tell me they have no one confirmed from Southern Central. Is any one going?

There will be a big gang going from, Bristol, Central, South Central, SYNN, East Midlands and maybe a few from TV.

In my ignorance I hadnt even heard of this event. I just googled it and have found references to it from different car clubs but no website of its own etc ?. Have I got it right as a Classic Hill Climb in the chilterns ish :)

Maybe North London & Herts folk could be enticed :bom:

Here are some links to pictures from last year, we've been going for several years http://forums.tipec.net/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=4390

The first two links don't work the google ones near the bottom do.

Heres the link to the application form and more information on the event http://www.cleevevale.org.uk/classiccar/index.htm

I have just sent off my entry form (for the paddock inc 2 runs @ £46) and notice that the web site says "pre 80s cars", with later cars "at thier discretion"? Whatever, still sending it off, trust they will not be too picky!

They like us Andy, we have been attending for quite a few years, there won't be any problems.

altho, noticed slight room for conflct when adding it to the family diary, as it's also mothers day!! hope HWMBO see's this as a suitable "day out..."

Here are links to a few pictures from last years event.

At least three of us from the Bristol group are entered. Despite the rules stating pre-1980 all Porsche's are declared as interesting, so no problem to enter.

I've booked but again have wimped out of paddock and will just do the gentle cavalcade! Have phobia about looking a wally in front of the watching crowds and ending in kitty litter!

One of the organisers is a long-term 928 owner so he counts them as "interesting" even if post 1980, and indeed all Porsches of whatver year as warmly welcome.

Will there be a decent club presence on both days or is it just Sunday?

We will be there both days, Saturday Cotswolds run, Sunday the Orchard and cavalcade for us.

Problems getting a hotel though, most are booked up as it's a Bank Holiday weekend.

A few of us from SYNN will be attending both days, I have once again booked into the Aspley Villa in Cirencester and will be doing the run on Saturday and the Orchard on Sunday. A great week-end if the weather is fine. Ray SYNN RO

The Paddock is now full with no more entries being accepted.

You can still join us in the Orchard and drive up the hill in the cavalcade :)
