Post subject:  Yeatsall Farm Funday - Monday 31st August

Hi Folks

Apologies for the late reminder on this one but Brian has struggled to get details from the venue and the date has changed to Bank holiday Monday - 31st August.

Meet at Rugeley Railway station (WS15 2HQ) from 9.30am to depart at 9.45 in convoy.

There is no formal entry charge but you are invited to make a contribution into a bucket as its a charity event.

There is catering on site but the details are a little sketchy so we suggest you bring a picnic along just in case. Vintage aircraft will be flying in to the venue as part of the activities so it should be a little different. Come along if you can and cross your fingers the weather is good.

If you miss the meet up and want to come along later for a couple of hours the venue is:

Yeatsall Farm, Yeatsall Lane, Abbots Bromley. Staffs. WS15

See you there

Paul :D

PS Details for the Tour of the Peak District are being finalised and will be posted out in the next few days

Hi

Well it was a cracker of a day

Vintage cars, classic cars, vintage motor bikes, steam engines, live demonstration of bolted down aero engines with a visit of militaria and monster radio controlled tanks.

Fire service dmonstrations; setting fire to a car in a corn field!!?? Yes you have read it correctly

Vintage aircraft flying in during the day

A band doing music during the day

Local strong lager and it was free

Food all day and it was free

Entry to the event was free

Flights in a military twin seater observation plane

What more could you ask

What's the catch then.
Everything was by donation and the good cause was the Air Ambulance Service
Brilliant idea, brilliant event for a brilliant cause

Hopefully we will get some pictures on here soon
