Hi Folks

We're off to Trentham for the Classic Vehicle show on Father's Day (21st June)

This is a great venue but a little difficult to get into so we plan to be early this year in an effort to beat the rush.

Meet from 8.45am at Hilton Park services (M6 north near Junction11) to leave in convoy at 9.10am

We will BBQ (weather permitting) so it would be good to know how many are coming to plan food.
Please add your names below

Also if anyone is willing to bring some burgers or something along please let me know so we co-ordinate everything. There's nothing worse than having 30 burgers and no buns!

Central, East Mids and Cheshire/Staffs regions will all be in attendance so we should have a large display on the day.

See you there

Paul :D

Normally I advise folk to book in advance through the Transtar website but having just taken a look http://www.transtarpromotions.co.uk/it appears that the event is sold out

If you come on the day as "Joe public" the cost is £8 per adult and £5.50 for kids and you will not be able to park your car on the club stand although you are welcome to come and walk in to the show to join us.

Best I can suggest is that you send me a PM next week (Mon 15/Tues 16) and I will get in touch with the organisers and see whether I can beg an extra place in the club display area although I suspect not this time if it's full

Hope that helps

Paul :D

As this event is sold out can I please ask a favour:

If anyone has pre-booked but is unable to attend the show please get in touch so we can have use of the ticket for someone else.

I'll make sure you get your money back for the ticket :D

Paul

the label was American Gramophone, and CB was a major reason why I gave up amateur radio!

Thanks to all that joined us on sunday - We counted 26 Porsches on the stand and having wandered around the show I think we were one of the biggest club displays :D NIce to have the Cheshire & Staffs mob along :P

The BBQ was spoiled by the arrival of the "Burger Police" acting for Trentham Estate - apparently they have decided BBQ's are not allowed in the grounds :( so if we do this event again next year it will have to be bacon butties from the camping stove
