Our next club night on Monday March 23rd will be at Whittlebury Hall, near Silverstone. This venue is much larger, with lots of facilities, including a golf course, spa treatments and of course beer...!

If successful we will make the change permanent

More details can be found on http://www.whittleburyhall.co.uk

I'm moving into the south central region (Westcott near Waddesdon, Bucks) next month paperwork willling!

This place seems very far North and looks like it's a bit flash for me. Do they sell proper beer or just fizzy stuff?

Not having been to the current pub, is there a problem with it then?

The Chequers was never quite right and geographically was on the wrong side of the region.

Whittlebury is a bit nice, but they still sell beer. :P You're about as far away from it as I am, find a direct route on those lovely country lanes.

We'll try it and if it doesn't work out we'll find somewhere else.

Good luck with the move assuming you complete without any problems.

Just to confirm that our first club night at Whittlebury was a real success, so we will be making the change permanent

Great choice, we haven't had over 20 people to a club night for quite a while.

All we need to do now is get burgers on the menu. :P

Hes e-mailed me to say he'll come to Whittlebury Hall next club night. He must have heard about their plans to put burgers on the menu

I've exchanged a few mails with him, he's busy with his music and getting the 928 dirty.

Hi Folks

It feels like forever since Cindy and I have been to a club meeting. If someone will let me know when the April meeting is to be held we'll try hard to come along that night.

928 Hasn't been cleaned for months. <gasp> I know - that doesn't sound like Chris Kenward!? Well... had a change of heart. I just want to drive it now. If it gets dirty that's just going to have to be the way it is! (Never thought I'd hear me say that!)

She's still well, though and driving perfectly well. Going for MOT on Tuesday - fingers crossed.

Hope to see you all at the new venue. Here's hoping the bugers are ON the menu by then!

Cheers
Chris
