I know it seems a long way off but with the NEC looming if I don't post details now I might forget and leave it to the last minute

So - Central Region Curry night at Vakas Balti on Saturday 22nd November. Meet from 6.30pm to order food for 7pm. Our nights at Vakas have become a much loved part of the calendar and the food is always very good. Wives, partners, kids all welcome.

Please confirm with me via the forum or by email to reserve your place :D

Black Country

Bostin

Used to play dominoes for a pub team just down the road from the curry house

That was till I had to play against a lass who was a nail maker. She could bend 6 inch nails with her teeth.

Definitely not your dear wife Lindsay.

Might have been a far distant relative though, but I doubt it.

The lass in question used to smoke Park Drive cigarettes when she had a few bob and when she didn't she used to do roll ups from nub ends off the floor.

She also had huge hands with fingers the size of bananas, probably the outcome of being a nail maker

See you at the Curry House

Will you bring the sawdust or is it my turn this year!!

Sorry Paul - family event has come up today which means we will be away that weekend.

So our 4 places are now available.

Cheers,

Adrian
