It’s the 2012 calendar photo shoot time, this is open to all South Central members even if you took part last year. The shoot will take place on Sunday 30th October in the morning, it will be at two locations, one at Silverstone Porsche (OPC) in Towcester and the second part at the Porsche Experience Centre at Silverstone circuit, both locations will be organised by Mike Holmes “Thanks Mike”, see he has got some friends! The date is subject to the weather so there will be an update closer to the time, if you can let me know as soon as possible if you would like to attend so we can let the two sites know. Pierre will be pulling the trigger and producing the calendar to the same high standards as last year “Big Thanks to Pierre”, Pierre a little tip, if you use a smaller lens you can stand in the same Post Code as the cars! Hi There, Good old Mike has got us in at Silverstone Porsche at Towcester, the date is Sunday the 30th October starting at 10:30am, please don’t turn up before as the gates will be locked. As well as single car shots Pierre will be looking at group shots, i.e. all the Cabs, 911 range and 924-944-968’s plus shots alongside some new models. Mike is still waiting to hear back regarding the Porsche Experience Centre up at the circuit, but I think the OPC will take up the morning and probably into early afternoon so this may be another day! So far we have: Pierre Mike Mark Clive Brian & Amanda Steve Steveb11 Andy Duck Geoff Pete Rich 90% Yes Any questions please let me know |

Matt loves us , at least he is still with us every club night, rain or shine Matts there . His car is well sorted now , just spend a shed load on it , and its going in the 2012 Calender ' just got to get the right angle for the photo

Sean, I didn't think anyone listened to Mike much anyway So, assuming it's still working by then, i'm to spend the week beforehand cleaning it (the 924, not the RAC truck!)? And, yes, I have spent a bucket load (mostly labour) on it since owning it, maybe enough to buy a good 944 or ratty 911, but I like my 924 I think its now time to get my name on the list and put the car in the calendar. |

Steve, Matts no longer with the RAC, it was costing them too much!!!!!! Watch out AA Matt, Yes it would be good to see you and your trusted 924 at the photo shoot, regarding washing it? well that’s up to you, I don’t want to be held responsible for any damage to the car as the result of it being washed twice in 12 months
