Hello

Just joined the club as bought a 944S over the summer.
Live in Huddersfield so drove over to Morley tonight as it is the third Sunday of the month to meet a few members, (as mentioned in my joining letter) but nobody there. I see the other meeting is near York on first Tuesday of month, now that would be a 100 mile round trip.
When and where do you guys meet ?

Hi,

Welcome to TIPEC. I live in Mirfield. It's a lovely trek out to The Windmill at Dunnington once a month. It's a 98 mile round trip for me :D . A long way to go for a pint but worth it catch up with the other members. I can also recommend the pub grub too - very nice. See you at Dunnington?

Thanks for all the welcomes !!
Will try and get over to York next month to meet some members.
The car is running quite well considering its not been run much in the past three years. I will post some pictures when i work out how to shrink and upload them.

Not possible for me at the moment. It's just too far. But with more members poping up in West Yorkshire a meet nearer us lot may become viable. My '44s will be in bits again soon for a complete head rebuild & maybe the gearbox & diff at the same time. Might as well do the water pump at the same time. ££££££££ :roll:
