Post subject:  Help around Kirby Moorside - Porsche 944

I have found a car for sale in Kirby Moorside near Pickering (North East UK).

I am based in Swindon in Wiltshire - about 4 and a half hours south.

Current owner doesn't have internet access so cant even send me pictures of the car. Car is a Porsche 944.

Would anyone be willing to go and take a look and let me know (high level) the condition of the car. Maybe he/she could take some photos and get them back to me via e-mail.

I would be happy to pay for this service.

If this one turns out to be unsuitable I am currently selling my 944S2 see cars for sale Titan Grey 1991 944S2. You would be welcome to either come and see it or if you are coming North I could meet you at Harrogate. Not sure what you are after or how much you want to spend but thought I would suggest it to you, at least you have an option.

Chaps - My quest demands a Turbo - but at my price bracket im looking at scummy turbos that will need £ks of work.

Ive been looking for about two years now and tbh havent really found anything suitable for my budget. I might have my sights set way too high.

If i dont find one soon - I will get a S2 and keep until a turbo does come up.

Im sorry if i didnt make my post clear.

TBH if you have been looking for 2 years and not found one yet, I suspect that you will be looking for another 10.

But who knows today might be your lucky day

overall its a bit scabby round the sills and has a few scuffs, trim was good, no cracks in the dash.
wheels need refubing
Started up (on jump leads) no smoke or unusual noises.
Pass door would not open, air con did not work.

Rav email me and I will send you some photos

Whats your budget? If your looking for a 3K car for 1.5 you will look forever! The best ones cost but save you in the long run! How do I know. I just spent 4K fixing a cheap '44. Not so cheap in the end.... :| If I was selling it tommorrow it would be 3K & a complete bargain. It's not for sale :D
