WEDNESDAY 3RD JUNE 2009 TIPEC SCOTLAND MINUTES. Stewart Gordon opened this month’s meeting with a big thank you to all those attending this evening 15 porkers in the car park and 22 bodies came along, a nice turn out folks!! In particular a warm welcome to Reg Curzon yet another new member to the Scottish region and the very proud owner of an excellent example 928 S2 1985 in it’s year. Welcome aboard Reg to the club! Yet another big thank you to TIPEC Central for the new Gazebo and club banners and not to mention a good show for the TIPEC national day. The weather was fantastic and a great crowd and support for the show as always from the Scottish region and we managed 15 porkers and 24 bodies to make the 650 mile round trip. Many thanks everyone who went to the show. A special thanks to John Oakes from the Yorkshire region who joined us at the hotel on Saturday evening and travelled to Gaydon with us on the Sunday. A special round of applause to Kevin Tocher who yet again achieved that all important silverware in the visitor’s choice category at Gaydon. Kevin’s efforts over the seasons with the 964 have been nothing short of brilliance and dedication and the region understands the time and effort put into the car, so keep up the good work Kevin, and not to forget his co-pilot Stevie O’Hare.
