Here it is again and as usual me and a few mates are off to the show and camping the night before. The difference this year is May31st is my birthday, so it party time. My brother is coming in his 944 cab and we will each have a passenger with us I will be taking John who some of you will know from the club meets. He is soon to be a Porsche owner although he is not sure if it will be a road car or race car like my 924 turbo. The turbo raced for the first time last weekend although not with the turbo engine but with a 924 standard engine liberated from a scrap car two weeks before race day with out any testing. The car went well and faster each time out with the fastest lap of the day a1.52 in the rain not so much the car but the novice driver getting used to Croft and car future plans involve a 944 turbo engine. We will be camping at the Gaydon Arms pub any one is welcome to join us.
You can see the turbo on You tube I get it off the line well and even get some Fiestas into the first corner but the lack of power is apparent as they get past on the straight search for NSSCC the clips with the Civic show Mick in the BMW and me as I get out the way to be lapped. The Ginetta clips show more of the Porsche and his own demise the Ginetta was fast but lacked grip

Fantastic fun the car was built from a £250 donor of Ebay I have spent about £3000 on it and its taken 4 years to get it up to RAC MSA spec I plan to race and develop the car over along racing career.

Thats interesting! All the best to you. Just driving up on the day myself but mine will look like a 924 as it has no spoiler on it at the moment. :)
Keep it out of the armco
