Just a quick reminder that the TIPEC North East region March meeting will be this Sunday at the Sporting Lodge, Stainton Village, from 7:30pm as usual.
Lets hope the good weather holds for the weekend!

Hope to see you there.

Hi Simon,

Thanks for the reminder, I hope to join you on Sunday all being well.
I'm offering my services at a track day at Donington on Saturday, might have to spend some time with the better half Sunday, but I'm sure she will understand  !!

Thanks Simon,
I'm sure she would enjoy an evening compairing the pro's and cons of a Porsche against her Micra, but by the end of the night we would all be running Micras! And where would that leave me?

Fair point well put! :D :D

I used to work for a company that made components for Micras, so you wouldn't catch me with one

You mean that you have not yet found a part off one that fits your 911

I'm sorry I even mentioned "Micras" now, please remember guy's this is a Porsche forum! Just forget about Nissans they are not real cars just a means of transport!

Dave.

we run a micra for my wifey, it is good reliable transport, with so far no unexpected costs, servicing is reasonable and the fuel economy is on par/better than my 407 diesel, she loves its cute ? looks and says she wants another when it comes to trade it in

Funny we should get on to the subject of reliability, unfortunatly I was unable to attend the North East meet this evening after my trusty Berlingo van decided to jump a tooth on the timing belt !! Slightly above the speed limit on the M18 yesterday, not sure of the extent of the damage yet still stripping! According to Citroen the belt is not due for change yet after viewing the belt today, I disagree !!

Moral of the story: Time is as important as miles when it comes to timing belts!!
My proffesional advise is change your timing belt 48,000mls or 4 years max despite what the service book say's :(
