Yesterday saw a few of us having a fantastic day all round at Anglesey on the Coastal Circuit yesterday - even with a few "offs", spins and mishaps.... Looking forward to making it an annual event!

As well as a selection of 911's, we also had a 968 and two 924's - the Rothmans and a very presentable and tidy S. My screen number was 429 and the S had 449... if only they were reversed. Looking at the pics, I may need to stiffen the Anti Roll Bars for the future!

We shared a garage with a guy, Andy, in his Ariel Atom - he took a couple of us out for passenger rides! Where the Rothmans was getting to around 90mph before the braking zone to the left hand hairpin at the top of the circuit - he hit 130mph - just an incredible machine!

He did end up with a binding brake disc near the end of the day which resulted in a quick pull into the pits wit marshalls running to his car with fire extinguishers but nothing too serious... temp check afterwards showed the disc at 236 degrees C.

There were a couple of spins in our group, only one major "off". We had a slight off across a kerb and grass but recovered quickly without spinning or stopping. There were only a couple of minor mechanical issues overall although a wheel bearing on the 924S may need attention afterwards. I needed to nurse the Rothmans home again with low fuel pressure - seems the pump just cant cope wit running at that level for sustained periods of time... new pump is on order.

A few pics below of the day...
