Unphased German Car Show - Worden Park, Leyland. Sunday 25th May. Meet at Tesco Leyland (address below) at around 8.15am. Richard Sholl will hand you your entry pass there. Worden park is only 5 minutes away (see map attached). Richard will release cars say 5 at a time with 5 minute intervals.
The show starts at 9.00am. There are prizes for best stand and you can also enter the "Show & Shine". We have 4 passes going spare so if you haven't put you name down it would be great if you could join us! I am told there is in excess of 300 cars booked in so should be worthwhile! The Tesco address is:
Towngate,
Leyland,
PR25 2FN

Let's not beat around the bush here. Let me tell you that we've had another top tipec NW day out. Some 11 cars on display with a 964 turbo joining us for an hour or so. We erected the event shelter, got the bunting out and the flag up. The weather was far, far better than expected and everyone appeared to enjoy themselves. As a region we volunteered Colin for the pie eating competition and, considering the circumstances, he did us proud. The low point of the day was the dreadful onsite cafe: slow service and pretty poor product : my bacon sandwich was burnt to a crisp. 'Twas not the quality of catering that tipec NW has come to expect.
