Steve Hewson has let me know that his team are running an open pit-lane trackday at Oulton Park on 8th November. These are the same guys that organised the TIPEC track day at Blyton Park back in April.

It's open pit-lane format and £130 for car and driver. I think an extra driver is £35.

Anybody fancy it? Or will you be busy polishing your valve caps?

Get it booked Tony - at that price it'd be a crime to miss out. And if the 924 isn't ready, the 991'll cope, I'm sure.

Hi fellas

Great to see that a few of you will be making it along to this one, we usually run a couple of days a year at Oulton and it's always a great place to be. This is a multi-make day so not Porsche only like Blyton but most of our entries are from the clubs that we work with so it's still very novice friendly and we will have free instruction available again on a first-come-first-served basis.

We are also doing a bit of a club deal for this one where if five+ book using a club booking code, one gets their entry fee refunded. We usually just draw a name out of a hat, if ten+ book then there are two refunds and so on.

If anyone wants to book then please put "TIPEC" in the comments box and we'll keep an eye on how many we have got, if you have already had an email from me as a previous driver then you will already have a different code, please don't put both codes as you only get one freebie per place :lol: . If you've already booked and want to swap your code over to TIPEC please just post up or PM me and I'll sort that out.

Anyhoo, I'm instructing at Oulton today myself so got to dash, hope a few of you can make it along to the trackday.

on the "reserve list" as wasn't sure the 924 would be ready....roll cage arrives Monday :D

I'm instructing there for MSV on the 12th so if anyone is too late for the 8th I may see you there. I'm also on the BMW Car Club day at Oulton on Nov 29th, if anyone fancies coming along I think there's still some spaces available, shout up for details.
