Porsche In The Glen

Sunday 1st September 2013 Calderglen Country Park .Strathaven Road . East –Kilbride Glasgow G75 0QZ 12noon and 4 pm

This is a joint day with TIPEC and PCGB and individual Porsche owners displaying their cars in a beautiful setting .. With your help we hope to make this the largest display of Porsches seen in Scotland and it follows on from the successful show last year where we had a staggering 56 cars on display .
This is a family day out and there are lots to see and do for all ages
• Free entry to the Zoo and pets corner *
• Free entry to the conservatory *
• Free entry to the adventure playground and walk ways to the Calder Glen * Dogs allowed in park area *
• Courtyard Café where you will receive a 10% discount on all food and drinks *
Live entertainment during the day….. Displays in the picture gallery …. Face painting …. Bouncy Castle ….BBQ areas where you can bring along your own food to cook .
. We hope to have along some trade displays as well as welcoming Glasgow OPC and Police Scotland We hope you will all come along and support us on this fun family day out and make use of all the facilities the park has to offer. We will also be having a show and shine competition where you and the public can vote for the car you would like most to take home and some very nice prizes are up for grabs . All cars are to be on display on the lawn in front of the Castle by 11.30 before the general public are admitted We need your support to make this happen so please put in your diary ,We look forward to welcoming you along on the day .

What a day, officially the largest gathering of Porsche only cars in Scotland with a count of 90 cars ( 93 cars came, but a couple left before everyone was there ). It has put me right in the mood for Gaydon next week. :D

Was a fantastic day the largest gathering of Porsches ever in Scotland Brain and myself were knackerd at the end of it but was worth it!! Huge thanks to all who helped on the day!! Watch this space for next years event!!!
